“Sailing around the Isle of Wight with Cowes Sailability Club is better than any drug therapy I have had in the ten years since I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. It has given me belief in myself and I feel like I can do anything now.”
Andy Barton, member of
Cowes Sailability Club
Cowes Sailability Club is a registered charity that offers sailing and recreational boating opportunities for adults and children with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and debilitating long term conditions. Our aim is to put smiles on faces, but in reality, we do so much more than this. We give disabled people renewed confidence in themselves, inspire them to live their lives to the full and leave them with incredible memories that they and their families will treasure.
Don’t just take our word for it, read what our members say about their experiences on the water and find out why they say, we smile!
Every year we produce a yearbook to show how we’ve been abe to bring smiles to countless individuals with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and debilitating long-term conditions. It’s also an opportunity for us to show our tremendous gratitude to our sponsors for continuing to help us put smiles on people’s faces.
