All members, volunteers and supporters of Cowes Sailability Club can now help raise funds for Cowes Sailability Club when they shop. From 25th October 2020 to 23rd October 2021, Co-op will make a donation to the club, from the Co-op Local Community Fund, whenever people select Cowes Sailability Club as their local good cause and purchase selected Co-op branded products and services.

“We are really thrilled to have been selected by Co-op as a beneficiary of the Co-op Local Community Fund,” says Trish Rooke, Cowes Sailability Club’s Fundraising Officer. “This funding will enable us to take people in our local community, who have disabilities, on life-enriching boat trips, improving their well-being and lifting their spirits after the isolation caused by the coronavirus pandemic.”
Cowes Sailability Club aims to raise enough funds through the Co-op scheme to take 250 people with disabilities on motor boating trips during the summer of 2021. However this target will only be achievable if all of Cowes Sailability Club’s supporters sign up for Co-op membership and select Cowes Sailability Club as their nominated local good cause.
