Companionship during COVID-19 outbreak
All sailing and boating activities with Cowes Sailability Club are cancelled for the time-being due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, we are still keeping in touch with all our Sailability friends. While this period of uncertainty and social distancing continues, a group of the club’s volunteers are telephoning members and other volunteers to have a chat and prevent anyone from feeling isolated and alone.
“Sailing around the Isle of Wight with Cowes Sailability Club is better than any drug therapy I have had in the ten years since I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. It has given me belief in myself and I feel like I can do anything now.”

Cowes Sailability Club
Cowes Sailability Club is a registered charity that offers sailing and recreational boating opportunities for adults and children with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and debilitating long term conditions. Our aim is to put smiles on faces, but in reality, we do so much more than this. We give disabled people renewed confidence in themselves, inspire them to live their lives to the full and leave them with incredible memories that they and their families will treasure
